Here is my best run from my first night speedrunning the re-release of Final Fantasy Legend 2 in the "glitchless, 2x Speed" category, streamed live on my Twitch channel on July 29, 2025. The re-release of all of the Final Fantasy Legend series of games came with minor changes in content, but also allowed for the game to be played at 2x speed while keeping the music the same as normal speed. The tradeoff for playing the game at 2x speed is that more care must be taken in menus, overworld movement, and item selection, since it is now much easier to make incorrect selections or sub-optimal overworld movement. This run is the best time in this category as of this recording, but it is far from optimal, and will be improved soon.
