Final Fantasy V | Finale: Stop Exdeath & Save the World

It comes to this. Time to see the journey through.
Before that though, we face off against Shinryu, the other super boss in Final Fantasy V. Make sure your party have Coral Rings to absorb his Tidal Wave attack. Not only that but if you want to beat him easily, make sure your party members have two Dragon Whisker lances. You can get them from the Stingray but they are a rare drop. If you do plan to do that, expect to take a while. Once you do that, have your party use the Jump to not only dodge the attack but once you strike down, you can deal massive damage this way.
However if you don't have the time to get it, my strategy is to buff your party then have any physical attackers use Rapid Fire. Bear in mind that Shinryu absorbs holy so replace your weapons so that way you can deal the maximum amount of damage. It can take a few tries and eventually Shinryu will fall. With that out of the way, we finally confront Exdeath himself.
Exdeath is no laughing matter. Before this fight, you get to see him become one with the Void, becoming a gigantic tree. He then uses the power of the Void to swallow up more kingdoms and towns... and ultimately the party. But it was the Warriors before them: Galuf, Dorgann, Xezat and Kelger that motivate them not to give up. Even King Tycoon who offers his strength as well. The four heroes return back and finally take the fight to Exdeath.
Exdeath is a two-phase fight. Phase 1 has you fighting him as like some kind of giant tree. Buff your party then go on the attack. Ultimately he gets swallowed by the Void and becomes something much worse... Neo Exdeath. Neo Exdeath will wipe you out if you are not prepared. Made no better by the fact that his four parts combine at over 200,000 HP. Specialize on using multi targeted attacks such as Summons and Zeninage. If you've mastered every job and are at a high level, you should manage. Having Ribbons in your party can help you deal with the status conditions. There are a multitude of tactics you can use to take him down and he eventually goes.
Afterwards the party soon learns that the crystals came from the void. As long as the four essences exist, the crystals will return. If the Void ever threatens the world, then the essences will be there to protect it. Bartz, Lenna, Krile and Faris give up their Crystal Shards they kept and in turn, the Crystals are reformed once more. Earth. Fire. Wind. Water. They return and with it giving the planet back life. The many towns swallowed by the Void have returned and the party are set to return home.
A year passes. Bartz is heading off on a new adventure. Lenna and Faris rule Tycoon but Faris returns to her pirate life. Krile meanwhile is at the Guardian Tree, now feeling more isolated than ever. But it's then Bartz telling her that she's never alone. She has her friends and thus, they depart together. Thus concludes Final Fantasy V.
Final Fantasy VI may be the first Final Fantasy game I played but it's the fifth one that is my all time favorite. The job system was a massive improvement compared to FF3 and the game offers so much. I only wish it got the bonus content from the later ports but it's still a solid game. I highly recommend it because my god, it's pretty fun.
