Recap: While investigating the disappearance of a natural phenomenon in Delia Dunes, Marche encounters Llednar Twem. A seam in reality opens, drawing both inside. Cid also shows up, and uses and advanced law to stop Llednar from using his full power to attack Marche. In the engagement that follows, Llednar seems to be unassailable, but tries to use his special ability again, earning him a red card and getting him jailed by Cid.

Marche continues toward the final crystal, meeting its totema, Mateus. The totema takes the form of all of his friends and tries to talk him out of destroying it, but Marche's resolve remains firm. Mateus wins the fight easily, so none of that actually happened yet. Instead, they hunt down the hero Gaol's old nemesis, and free Muscadet from the remnants of Clan Borzoi.
