Final Fantasy Tactics Ninja Gear Final Countdown Meteor Invisibility Challenge Ft Faceless Loffrey
I am speechless with terrible AI and that thumbnail glitch, but glad I got this request (I’m on requests only as I feel I got as much obscure stuff that I could, and the FF Fandom helps with minutiae). Postgame is a good idea to revisit Orbonne monastery (or get cleared data save with a separate file for the cloud should you reinstall). You won’t keep any new weapons/recruited monsters sadly.
So Ninja Gear is a crappy win more item from the Disorder In The Order (eagrose postgame tavern rumor to go to brigands’ den) monk at the end of the vid, who defended and lowered her own evasion, which I never got before.
Randomness like Faceless Loffrey and Cloud being petrified given he had reraise with postgame (mobile) brave suit, which I have no idea why he didn’t break his armor as that spell is so slow. It did counter my blade beam low hp strategy, which a Reis beastmaster behemoth doing Almagest is instant speed overkill for hitting multiple enemies with good height that cloud lacks.
With DITO, I’d only go for the Kaiser shield (buffs fire, ice and lightning) and blaze gun given others have glacial gun, Venetian shield is worse than escutcheon II and won’t work with anti-evasion.
I didn’t have a use for invisibility although there is a mount germinas treasure hunter rare vanish cloak) before trying this challenge with Meteor, the slowest spell in the game, which you close in undetected, and then play keepaway as unfortunately, casting blows your cover, though I showed another bit at the end that a normal attack is guaranteed when invisible, but you lose it at the end of turn and reequip unfortunately won’t readd it. Using a summoner with bahamut/Odin avoids friendly fire and is faster (kaiser shield could help Agrias boost Salamander).
Immobilize (won't work vs thief's cap like disable/arm shot) and Slow are pretty good stalling means though sleep is better than stop that misses (thouhh featherweave cloaks make enemies evade slow, which is why Cloud missed).
I have Ramza as a squire to use Excalibur, so I wouldn’t use swiftness to nerf his magic, though it will make meteor slow tier instead of the slowest spell, but it is a nice final countdown idea. You also need to go first to have a chance charging, so haste helps a ton (and using more than 3 characters is overkill here).
Marach with arcane strength as a geomancer is pretty cool, especially if you use flame shield and lower his faith (enlighten) to heal more by nether ashura (which I think ignores reflect) and be magick resistant. No real point to bother with dark knight when he can 2 shot enemies, let alone this equipment does a ton, though you could equip fell swords with it or an onion knight that needs weeks of mastery. I also turned off display JP/exp to speed up the game given replays aren’t necessary as they’ll tell you when you job and normal level up for those unlocks.
