0Continuing on after the Liquid Flame fight. As you enter the Fire Crystal chamber,that werewolf from earlier greets the party,and appears to know Galuf. Before he can say anything however,someone throws the crystal machine into overdrive,causing it to shatter! The werewolf sacrifices itself to save the party sadly...but no time to grieve,the castle will crumble without the power of the Fire Crystal! You have 10 minutes to escape the area. It's plenty of time,but all of the chests that were blocked by flames earlier are now available. It's possible to get most of them,just avoid the ones in the towers to save time. The monsters in boxes won't help with your time limit either. Bear in mind you're forced to fight as you leave the castle. Kill the wolves and the lone sergeant will reveal his true form,it's a Death Claw! It has high defense,and it's Death Claw move will leave someone with 1 HP. You can learn it,but now's not a good time to try. Flee to the world map after the fight and the castle will explode. Oh,you might be able to learn Aera from the Gigas in some chests,it's the 2nd tier Wind spell. You'll get the Beastmaster,Geomancer,and Ninja crystal shards after the castle explodes. Returns to Karnak afterwards to rest and to buy stuff afterwards.
