0Continuing on to the town of Karnak. On the way,you'll likely fight an enemy called Wild Nakk. They may use an unknown attack called ???,a Blue Magic skill you can learn. When you reach Karnak,you'll find fires everywhere,due to the Fire Crystal here. Attempt to use a Shop and your party ends up thrown in jail,suspected of being monsters due to emerging from the Meteorite. Just wait a bit,and the guy next door will blast through the cell with a bomb. It's this game's version of Cid! He's the one who made the Crystal Amp. Machines,and was tossed in here when he tried to shut it down. Suddenly,a guard shows up,and asks for Cid's help,the Fire Crystal is cracking! Luckily he asks us to help him out. There are many chests in Castle Karnak,but you can't actually reach them now due to all the fires everywhere. Apparently a Werewolf keeps trying to enter the castle too,huh. Before you head to the Fire-Powered Ship,make sure to head back to Karnak Town and shop around for equipment/magic. There's a Piano around here too. When you're ready,head to the Ship nearby,and Cid will brief you about monsters inside before sending you down below. When you kill Defeaters last in this area,it makes Motor Traps appear. If you cast Thunder on them,they'll use Self-Destruct,another Blue Magic you can learn. Other enemies in here include Crew Dusts,and Poltergeists.
