Continue to navigate the basement of the library and pass a recovery zone. Continue to make your way around and you’ll see someone by the bookshelf. However, the bookshelves nearby will start to shake and release their books, triggering Byblos in the process. Byblos has a variety of moves, including a charm to confuse one opponent, a magic hammer that drains the target’s health, a spider web that slows opponents’ actions, an air slash that strikes all opponents, and a toad spell that turns a fighter into a toad. Byblos is weak against fire spells, so be sure to use the Flame Scroll you just recently acquired. After the battle, speak with Mid by the bookshelf ahead.
