Now that Kefka is dead, it's time to take on the bonus bosses. If you want to take a look at how to complete this dungeon, click on this link!

I think out of all the FF Advance games that came out last decade for the GBA, The Dragon's Den has to be the best out of them all. I have discrepancies with the others for how redundant (especially IV) and unpleasant they are to play through, but this one isn't nearly as bad. It's comparable to the Phoenix Cave or more so Kefka's Tower in that there are many bosses and super weapons you find.

Not to reiterate what's in the link above, but it's a good idea to collect certain items before even coming here. You'll need a few Ribbons, a Celestriad or two, if not then Gold Hairpins are enough. You'll learn the true value of the elemental shields (Flame, Ice, Thunder etc.) as well. Phoenix Downs and Holy Waters are necessary. Tents are a must.

As for me? I didn't really want to go for multiple shields and the like. I maxed out Terra and had her go alone with the best equips possible and the other two teams had enough fire power and support to avoid death. I really recommend maximizing Gogo the best way you can, load up on throwing items and organize his command slot for all around efficiency. I personally think Party #2 has to go through the more tougher dragons like Holy. Equips do change off camera between the three teams throughout the video, but the relic setup is pretty much the same.

Ice Dragon (1:18) - It splits into 4 images so it has quadruple the annoyance. You really only need Golem + Dualcast Ultima + Genji Glove/Master Scroll combo to eliminate it.

Storm Dragon (5:04) - I think by now you already know that Golem is the standard for any boss fight once you get it, all these dragons have physical abilities to them. It's weak to Thunder. You know the rest.

Earth Dragon (7:28) - It's not a good idea to come into this fight with Float status because it'll counter with 50 G's to dispel it and then use a Quake spell to leave the team in shambles. I didn't have any Earth resistant equips as I thought I could survive without them. Weak to Ice.

Blue Dragon (10:00) - The dragon isn't seen until around the 11:00 mark but I wanted to leave the two random battles unedited to show what this area looks like. There is a samurai enemy that when killed can retaliate with a K.O move. It got me once. WITH Terra. Not the best situation.

Red Dragon (12:33) - One of Square Enix's weird boss ideas where they make a boss impervious to everything, it will expend all it's HP into going crazy with its attacks. Golem ---- Howling Moon ---- Hastega ---- RERAISE. You just need to survive and wait for it that Ultima suicide.

Cloister of Trials (16:36) - No explanation needed, they're all easy. Malboro Menace will split into several Malboros however. The Behemoth towards the end has the Ultima suicide combo you've seen already so Reraise is valuable.

Skull Dragon (22:54) - Worst boss ever. It's nerfed this time so only Rasp spells will damage it. The best way you can get through this quickly is for a Tranced Terra to be in the party so the damage output will be higher. This is where those Ribbons come in because it will zombify you. That's it, this takes some time.

Holy Dragon (30:01) - One reason I brought Terra was for the fact that she's really the only character who can kill this bastard fast enough. You see, it heals with Curaga every time it's hurt and has Heartless Angel to pair with Saintly Beam, a multi-target Holy attack. If you aren't using one character like me, then you'll have to abuse the Quick spell.

Gold Dragon (31:07) - Basically Celes in dragon form. It will absorb all magic. I for some reason believed it would not absorb Haste lol. It doesn't absorb Flood though.

Monsters-in-a-box (34:38) - Neslug is like Ymir from the very beginning of the game. Don't attack when it's inside it's shell. Plague will Doom everyone so you have to come up with a plan to kill it very quickly. Ribbon up the team before opening that chest with the Flan Princess, it will use Mega Berserk and you don't do any damage to it. If not it will just try to hit with Imp song or entice. Both are annoying.

Kaiser Dragon (40:42) - Hardest boss in the game. You have to do three rounds of 65,000 damage until it's over for good. Barrier Shift will change its weakness. Gotta survive it's first few Barrier Changes before attacking!

Going to level up for the Soul Shrine next!
