Something I've wanted to do for a while and something that there exists published guides to support: the fewest step challenge. The goal is to beat the game in as few of steps as possible. There are two ways to go about it, (1) as demonstrated here where extreme measures are taken to beat the game in as few steps as possible (8600) or (2) restrict to overleveling and relax steps taken to still guarantee victory but avoid certain glitches such as Vanish+Doom and skipping Celes as well (3) avoid save-stating despite playing an Emulator don't allow the use of save states.
