It's time for the minecart! Shijima has two crystal buddies that allow him to do a bunch of status ailments. Yay. They also respawn after some time if you kill them. Yay. So it's a good idea to stagger killing them so that you can avoid Delta Attack as status ailments aren't any fun. The crystals also absorb the element of their colour, so you can use elemental spells to help aid in the staggering of their deaths.
