Let's complete the Cultists' Tower since Bahamut is too aggressive to take on at the moment.

I recommend placing the Battle Mode to "Wait" for this fight. This is a very tedious boss fight. Equip Force Armor/Shields and avoid the Flame/Ice/Thunder Shields as those give a wielder a weakness to an element. To make the fight easier, cast/doublecast Flare, but watch out for the double Comet counter from the boss whenever you cast Flare!

If you do not want to use Flare, you'll have to scan the boss' weakness using Libra, but the boss will change his weakness constantly, often right before your spells are cast. It's annoying when the boss casts the Quake spell, which can target himself and often heals himself, and forces him to cast Cura spell on himself and change his weakness. It just isn't worth scanning and exploiting his weakness if you have access to the Flare spell.

Final Fantasy Vi T-Edition is a rom hack that changes large aspects of the original game. The hack rebalances mobs, bosses, adjusts some relics effects (such as Earrings no longer stacking together), fixes many bugs, different character outfits, adds music from other Final Fantasy games, side quests in pubs, and a whole lot more.

Each character now gains stats upon level up instead of from equipping Magicite. This makes each character play quite differently from each other and addresses the main problem with magic being extremely over powered in the original game. Some characters got overhauled quite a bit, such as Sabin's Blitzes using his Stamina in damage calculations, Mog's Dances no longer missing and placing Mog into a sort of Berserk status, and Gau no longer requiring going to the Veldt to learn Rages.
