Final Fantasy VII (Lowest Turn Count) Ep. 25 - Pagoda Battles
6I don't have any linked weapons for Yuffie right now, so I can't added effect Poison. Actually I think I can buy one in Wutai, but I'm already in the pagoda and I'm not walking 1 screen back now. The first fight is annoying because it uses Barrier and Regen on itself. I barely survived with 2 HP even at these levels.
The second fight actually forced me to go buy the Razor Ring. He's too fast and does too much damage to just brute force my way through. I had to get a bit creative. I put Time - Added Effect into my weapon. This allowed me to both slow and stop Shake long enough to get the kill.
For the third fight, Chekhov is so slow that I can just brute force my way through. I prefer the Magic Shuriken when I can. It seems to crit more often and does more damage for sure.
The fourth fight vs Staniv can also just be brute forced. I'm also beginning to suspect that my first attack will always be double damage with the Magic Shuriken. It seems to be the case so far. (Note from the future: It turns out all of the pagoda battles are back attacks, it just doesn't tell or show you.)
Have to skip Godo for now. I CAN win, but it's a big luck fest. I've won twice while not recording during testing, but i was holding down fast forward the entire time. The luck requires that 1. Godo accidentally heals me when i need it and 2, Godo doesn't use mini. I'll come back to this a bit later.
