Final Fantasy VII (Lowest Turn Count) Ep. 17 - Gongaga Turks
7(NOTE: I screwed up the video for this fight and had to re-record it, but the only save I could find at this point of the game was from all the way back in my Mandatory Curse Ring challenge, So enjoy the blast from the past for this video)
I tried out a bunch of neat strategies here and I wasn't sure which was going to be best. My initial Thought was that this would be a 4 turn fight. My First Plan was to use Poison and Heal when needed, this didn't work out and actually took 5-6 turns on average because Turk Light does so much damage. I knew that 4 turns was possible though. I could easily go steal 2 Right arms then use 2 in battle to win that way. But then I thought of another neat strategy.
In the Desert, I can learn Aqualung in 1 turn, I wait for the enemy to use it then I use it right back killing it in 1 turn. Then I equip Yuffie with as much materia that gives +1 magic and additionally use my 3 mind source on her. This boosted her Magic high enough to kill both Reno and Rude in 3 turns, which would have been 4 total. This gives me both rewards and some nice EXP, AP and Gil on top of that.
And then I realized how stupid I was and that I can do this in 1 turn with Dice. either a 5-5 or 6-6- roll is enough.... Moving on. You may be wondering why I'm doing this optional fight, well there's something very important in Gongaga. You'll see next video.
