Final Fantasy VII- New Threat Mod No EXP Challenge- Leaving Midgar
I've decided doing a speed-run (especially skipping random encounters) for this mod seems improbable after dealing with the final bosses. It's extremely challenging going up against the later bosses in the game without time to prepare. Instead, I'll go ahead and challenge myself with no exp. I'm not sure how far I'll be able to go, but this sounds more fun: I can grind for ap and items, and approach enemies at my own pace without worrying about time.

About leaving Midgar: I was not able to record the first few bosses, but I don't think people want to see me chucking up grenades the whole time anyways. Thanks to an extra amount of ethers and money from bosses it makes farming for gil unnecessary at this point of the game. However, before coming to Shinra HQ, I made sure I had plentiful of grenades, decent amount of potions and traqs, and some left over ethers. I had exactly three tranquilizers before dealing with Motorball (Thank goodness, because you can't buy any of them once you enter the building.)
Poison does 4x damage to humans so Rufus was a piece of cake.
For motorball, I equiped Fire+Elemental and a poison protection to limit damage. I got unlucky a few times because his attacks instantly killed me. My timing was off during the battle at some points, but I still got the victory. Also he used all of his mp from trying to burn me. Just happy to get out of Midgar really.
I plan to change Level VII's name to Level V.
Thank you for watching as always!

Features of the Mod by Sega Chief:
-) New bosses and enemies, as well as new AI and attacks for old enemies and bosses.
-) Option to change party leader on Disc 3 and re-fight Disc 2 bosses, all accessed from the Highwind. Some quick mini-scenarios were added to unlock each character's Lv.4 Limit and Ultimate Weapon.
-) More save points, merchants, restore points, and other conveniences such as skips for lengthy flashback scenes. Kalm Flashback begone!
-) Field music is used for regular battles with no fanfare (only used for bosses); if you're not a fan of this feature and want the battle theme + victory fanfare to play for regular fights then a field patch for regular music will be available.
-) More balanced weapons, items, and spells making magic more useful. Gameplay is also faster with enemies giving 2x Exp, Gil, and AP. Battles were also specced with a front row party in mind, so no need to hide in the back with Sadness on.
