This is video #017 in my Final Fantasy VII playthrough. The party finally nabs a Striking Staff from Eligor in the Train Graveyard. Whoo hoo! Compared to the Mythril Rod, it doubles her attack power, and it also gives her two more materia slots.
Then, they head to the support pillar in Sector 7. Cloud and Tifa climb the pillar and find Barret fighting off the Turks. Reno arrives, and while the party stupidly stands by, he activates a time bomb. Then, he challenges the party to battle. The major problem with this battle is that Reno will encase a party member in a Pyramid. If he does this to all three party members, it's game over. Just attack a Pyramid to free the party member.
Fortunately, Reno himself is nothing too special. Just attack normally, use Limit breaks, stay healed, and break Pyramids. Lightning is not a good choice because Reno is resistant.
