1,010What if Final Fantasy VII Remake was a blockbuster movie? And what would its trailer look like?
Started work on this last week. I've always loved the editing technique trailers use where a quiet conversation switches back and forth to a non-stop action scene, so I wanted to recapture it with this.
Funnily enough, all the footage and voice lines were recorded using the share feature on my PS5 and turning off music in the game's settings. As a result of this, I had to play through a bunch of the game again to get reach the parts seen in the trailer.
YouTube compresses video quality by a TON, so I couldn't just use footage from the site, and I wanted the exact materia and weapons seen in the pre-rendered cutscenes to make the trailer more faithful :)
