The boss fight against Jenova Dreamweaver. For this boss, there's a good way to go about this fight without using too much of your MP. You'll want to have some amor equipped for your party members that can resist poison as well as slow/stop since there will be times when Jenova uses that on any of your party members. On the first phase of the fight, all you have to do is simply build up your ATB gauge and use your ATB abilities with Tifa and Cloud to take out the tentacles. Doing so will fill up Jenova's stagger meter, as well as. Now on the 2nd phase, you'll want to keep doing the same thing, only except you'll need to constantly take out the other tentacles that are around the area. Once you have all the tentacles taken out, go for Jenova and try to fill up more of the stagger meter. But be sure to keep a look out for what kind of attacks Jenova and the tentacles are so you can block them properly. Now the third phase is when Jenova will use all of what you've learned from the previous two phases. As I said before, just keep doing what you were doing previously. This method is a long process but it does help save you on MP for your party members. But if you want, you can cast haste on everyone from time to time so you can fill up everyone's ATB gauge faster.
