Meeting back at Chez Aerith. Elmyra's tragedy. How Elmyra met Aerith.

------------

I want to take a stab at finding a role for my different weapons:

CLOUD

Hardedge: Attack power, damage, punisher mode strong attack (what is this??), crippling damage (what is this??). Good for physical attacks. Linked materia.
Iron Blade: Tanking. Good defense, and 50% bonus to self-heal when low HP. No linked materia.
Nail Bat:: Low HP weapon. Not sure when it’ll be great, but I get a lot of bonuses when low HP! No linked materia.
Buster Sword: Balanced. Jack of all trades with a mix of defense, offense, physical, magic. Linked materia.

---

AERITH

Mythril Rod: Raw magic damage. Some sustain against trash with Bloodsucker (recovers HP when enemies are defeated).
Guard Stick: Tanking.

Silver Staff: Magic damage, but not as much as mythril rod. 10% increased debuff duration. Maybe better if I really care about debuffs at a particular time?
Arcane Scepter: Improved buff and debuff duration. Double linked materia.

Mythril Rod seems the most powerful, and Guard Stick if I need to focus on defense. Hard to see when I’d use the other two.

---

BARRET

Gatling Gun: More offensive, but good mix.
Light Machine Gun: More defense, but good mix.

---

TIFA

Metal Knuckles: Raw physical damage. 30% Concentration.
Feathered Gloves: 70% Concentration, Rear Assault bonus. Some defensive bonuses when guarding. No linked materia.
Leather Gloves: 50% Concentration. Limit Break boost.
Sonic Strikers: Extra linked materia. Lots of magic damage. Debuff and Buff Duration extensions.
