Part 108 - Capturing Chocobos!

Now before we begin anything, please note this:

There are various guides on this but most of them say different things and sound pretty sure of themself...
However, it's just simply there's a lot of ways to do this.

First off, it might vary on game versions.
But anyway -
Great+Good works, but it isn't the only way to do it regardless of what you may have read.
Great+Great works too and so does Good+Good.
You just need Higher Class to have a better chance, but they all produce the same eggs, meaning Green and Blue Chocobos.

I've tested A LOT and it doesn't seem to matter which gender is which on Great or Good if you mate them and Great+Great have given me both Green and Blue.
Even Good + Good gave me both colors and genders.

Now that we have that out of the way, the rest should be simple even from the video.

Some simple tips and ways to do this -
Feed 25-30 Sylkis green for enough of an effect, but feed 60-70 on your starter Chocobos to get max stamina if wanted to make it easier.
Any Chocobos you got from mating these should never need more than 40-50 though, if even that...

Race to S-Class for best chance of getting what you need from mating. A-Class should work good too.

Carob Nuts are needed for blue+green+black.
Zeio nut for Golden.
