Final Fantasy VIII Boss: Biggs, Wedge & Elvoret
82nd Boss of FFVIII takes place at the top of the Dollet Comm Tower during the SeeD Exam.
Squall is lv23 and Zell and Selphie are both lv19.
Biggs seems to be fixing something at the top of the tower and is getting frustrated with it. While Wedge only seems to be distracting the unhappy Major he decides to scout the area while Biggs is too busy making repairs to even listen to what Wedge has to say.
Squall, Selphie and Zell arrive at the top floor as soon as Biggs is done and a Cinematic Cut Scene plays. After the Cut Scene Squall confronts Biggs with a question. Biggs, still frustrated with the repairs orders Wedge to deal with Squall, Selphie and Zell but unknown to Biggs Wedge has mysteriously vanished! as an outnumbered Biggs attempts to make a run for it Seifer shows up and angers Biggs even further. Now the battle begins.

Both Wedge and Biggs look just like regular Galbadian Soldiers but their Strength and Magic is slightly above that of the common Soldiers encountered in Dollet.
When the battle begins you're faced off against Biggs alone. Wedge will appear if a certain amount of time passes or if Biggs loses a certain amount of HP however, since Biggs's HP is fully restored when Wedge enters the fray there doesnt seem to be any point in attacking. Usually id Draw 100 Esuna from Biggs until Wedge shows up but i figured my Viewers would get bored of watching me constantly Draw Magic, plus its very time consuming.
I decided to attack Biggs and make Wedge appear early to make the battle shorter. You can Draw and cast Cure from Wedge if your HP gets low.
For some unknown reason when Wedge casts Magic in this battle he has blue sparkles instead of the usual green. Reasons for this are unknown and it affects nothing.
When either Biggs or Wedge's HP is reduced to 0 a weird tornado falls from the sky and blows both Galbadian Soldiers out of the battle. Suddenly a Demonic Bat like creature called Elvoret decends from above and confronts the young Future SeeD Members.
Elvoret

HP: 1563 - 3523
Weak against: N/A
Strong against: Poison
Immune to: Earth
Draw: Thunder, Cure, Double, Siren
Draw GF Siren from Elvoret as soon as possible. If you fail to Draw GF Siren here and Elvoret dies you wont be able to get GF Siren until Disc 4! Elvoret has a useful Spell called Double which enables you to cast 2 of the same Spell in 1 turn. Double is also a good Spell to Junction to your Characters Speed.
Every 3 turns Elvoret will use Storm Breath which inflicts decent damage to the Party. Draw and cast Cure to keep your Characters HP higher than 300. Elvoret seems to be resistant to Magic so use Physical Attacks on him. You can Summon your GFs to cause massive damage.
Elvoret is classed as a Fly Monster so Earth Elemental Attacks wont even hurt him but odds are you wont have Quake at this point of the Game anyway.
Like Wedge, Elvoret has blue sparkles instead of green. Again this affects nothing.
You can tell when Elvoret is dead because your Characters ATM Gauges will freeze and Elvoret will start swaying around as if he's dizzy. Suddenly Elvoret will begin exploding in a cinematic way then when he crashes to the floor dead he slowly begins to break up and disintegrate into tiny particles that make a type of glittering crystal sound.
You get 2 Elixirs, 2 Cottages and a Weapons Monthly Magazine for winning the battle.
Selphie informs Seifer that all SeeD Members and Students who participated in the SeeD Exam must assemble at the Shore in 1900 hours. a 30 minute Timer will then begin to count down!
When Squall, Selphie and Zell go down the elevator Biggs regains conciousness, crawls along the floor to a Control Pad and dials in something while muttering to himself that Squall's Team is a Target then he shouts " NOW GO! GO AND DESTROY THEM! " Biggs will then collapse and you hear a faint noise in the background!
What did Biggs do?, what was that faint noise in the distance? will Squall and the others make it back to Quistis on Lapin Beach on time?
