Final Fantasy X-2 is the first direct sequel within the mainline Final Fantasy games. Originally released in 2003 soon after Square Soft became Square Enix, the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster was released a decade later in 2013. X-2 follows Yuna two years after the ending of Final Fantasy X, in her adventures alongside Rikku and Paine. With Buddy, Brother, and Shinra alongside them onboard their flying ship Celcius, these six trek Spira as Sphere Hunters - The Gullwings. In reality, this basic premise acts as a simple catalyst for the story to take place.
The game takes a much lighter tone than its predecessor, and thus the question becomes whether or not it was worth it to do so. Did these character changes (Potentially brought on by rumored studio changes) and tonal shifts work in the game's favor?
Kind of.

Ok, so the microphone occasionally likes picking up slight crackling sounds for... some reason? Couldn't really get rid of them all, so I'm sorry. Also, for whatever reason, some of the footage I had was fairly laggy. I have to assume this is moreso a problem on the part of NVidia's Shadowplay than anything else: Playing the game didn't show any of those lag spikes. Strange.
Oh well. C'est la vie.
