Sin's Face isn't hard, but you have to kill him before he uses his Overdrive. If he uses his Overdrive, it's an instant Game Over even if you use Anima. I used Wings of Discovery with Rikku's Overdrive which allows you to deal 9999 damage per hit and used my party member's Overdrives to end this quickly. I still had my First Strike weapons equipped.
