Numerous people have been confused about how to use FFXED with their AR-MAX or Codebreaker, so I made a video to clear up the confusion. The only program that you will need besides FFXED is PS2 Save Builder.

In this video I edit a .max save file from AR-MAX, but the process is exactly the same for a Codebreaker .cbs save file.

Steps:

1. Copy the save file off of your PS2 memory card with AR-MAX or Codebreaker and put it on your computer.
2. Open the MAX or CBS save in PS2 Save Builder and extract the raw save.
3. Edit the raw save in FFXED.
4. Add the edited raw save back into the MAX or CBS save, (overwriting the old raw save in the process).
5. Use AR-MAX or Codebreaker to put the edited MAX or CBS save back on your PS2 memory card.
