4Current situation: The party goes to Bevelle to confront Maester Mika. As the Bevelle guards ready their attack, Shelinda shows up and stops them, having recently been promoted to captain of the guard. Shelinda relays a directive from Mika saying that Yuna is not to be treated as a traitor. She sets up an audience with Mika for the party.
Mika asks about the final aeon, and Yuna tells him that they've fought and defeated Yunalesca. Upset, Mika says that this means Yu Yevon's spiral of death will consume all of Spira. He reveals that Yu Yevon dwells inside Sin, and makes it anew from the final aeon every time Sin is defeated. He sends himself, departing to the farplane.
The fayth from Bevelle appears before Tidus and Yuna, beckoning them to its chamber. The fayth asks about their plans to defeat Sin, and approves of the idea of fighting Yu Yevon directly. The fayth says that this will end all of the fayth's dreams. Tidus understands what this means for him, and Yuna picks up that he's hiding something, but he still chooses not to share what he knows with her.
The group leaves Bevelle with a request of Shelinda: To tell everyone she can that a ship in the sky will sing the hymn of the fayth, and that everyone in Spira needs to sing along at the same time. A plan forms, and the party prepares to attack Sin head on.
