Final Fantasy XI #202, Aht Urhgan: Royal Puppeteer; Dolphin Crest; Black Coffin

Previously, Heorot carried out Treasures of Aht Urhgan Mission 10: "Astral Waves" and Aht Urhgan Mission 11: "Imperial Schemes". Now, for Aht Urhgan Mission 12: "Royal Puppeteer", he will begin investigating the ghost ship auspiciously named the Black Coffin. He is also now able to progress Rhapsodies of Vana'diel past the mission "Ever Forward".
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Al Zahbi. He heads out to the Al Zahbi district.
Al Zahbi (time 1:23):
Heorot takes the West Gate at F-7 to the Wajaom Woodlands, Mamool Ja Savagelands.
Wajaom Woodlands (time 2:41):
Heorot will need to pick up a vial of Jody's Acid for his next mission contact, so he will go ahead and get it now. He targets the Malboro relative called the Great Ameretat that appears around D-9. Heorot receives a vial of Jody's Acid from the very first battle. I like this trend!
Heorot uses the Survival Guide at C-8 to teleport to Nashmau, Arrapago Islands.
Nashmau (time 16:36):
Heorot talks to Pyopyoroon at H-7. This little Qiqirn asks for a vial of Jody's Acid.
Afterwards, Heorot trades his vial of Jody's Acid to Pyopyoroon at H-7. Heorot receives a Vial of Spectral Scent temporary key item. Aht Urhgan Mission 12: "Royal Puppeteer" complete!
Aht Urhgan Mission 13: "Lost Kingdom" begins. Heorot must search a place to the west to find his ghost.
At G-7, Heorot exits west to Caedarva Mire.
Caedarva Mire (time 23:00):
Heorot starts at F-10 in the western part of the first map.
He soon finds a place with many "stones", a graveyard. At E-10, he examines Jazaraat's Headstone for a cutscene.
After the scene, Heorot examines Jazaraat's Headstone again. This triggers a battle with Jazaraat, a notorious monster.
After the battle, Heorot examines Jazaraat's Headstone once more. A cutscene takes place. Heorot recieves the Ephramadian Gold Coin temporary key item. Aht Urhgan Mission 13: "Lost Kingdom" complete!
Aht Urhgan Mission 14: "The Dolphin Crest" begins. Time to report to the bossy Mithra.
At E-9, Heorot finds Home Point #1, conveniently placed. He teleports back to Aht Urhgan Whitegate, West Aht Urhgan.
Aht Urhgan Whitegate (time 32:19):
In Salaheem's Sentinels, Heorot talks to Naja Salaheem at I-10. A cutscene takes place. She really ought to be more careful with that morningstar. Aht Urhgan Mission 14: "The Dolphin Crest" complete!
Aht Urhgan Mission 15: "The Black Coffin" begins. Heorot's next lead is an ominous presence on Dvucca Isle.
Heorot uses the Survival Guide at L-8 to teleport to Nashmau, Arrapago Islands.
Nashmau (time 41:49):
After setting his current home point, Heorot exits west at G-7 to Caedarva Mire.
Caedarva Mire (time 43:03):
Heorot pays an Imperial Silver Piece to Nasheefa at E-11 to enter the Alzadaal Undersea Ruins.
Alzadaal Undersea Ruins (time 44:39):
Heorot arrives at K-9 on the first map. The teleporter at I-9 takes him to G-7 on the same map.
At G-6, he exits to Caedarva Mire.
Caedarva Mire (time 46:35):
Heorot emerges at I-10 on the second map, Dvucca Isle.
To the west, there is an unmapped path starting at G-9/F-9. It leads around north and east until it eventually enters the Arrapago Reef.
Arrapago Reef (time 49:33):
Heorot arrives at H-10 on the fifth map of Arrapago Reef. The boat in the middle of this map is ultimately where he needs to go.
However, Heorot goes through and takes the northern exit at H-6 to Caedarva Mire.
Caedarva Mire (time 52:38):
Heorot starts at G-8 in the northwest of the second map, Dvucca Isle. My purpose was to try to reach the Survival Guide shown on this map, but it is not reachable from the south. Phooey.
So, at G-8, Heorot reenters the Arrapago Reef.
Arrapago Reef (time 54:37):
When Heorot crosses the pier to the ship at H-8, some cutscenes take place. He has time to prepare for the boss battle aboard the Black Coffin.
After the scene, Heorot examines the Cutter door aboard the ship at H-8. He selects the objective "The Black Coffin".
The boss battle takes place aboard the Black Coffin. Gessho the Yagudo will be on hand to help him out. There are two waves. First, Heorot and his party must battle five Ashu Talif Crew. In the second wave, Heorot and company must face the Ashu Talif Captain and more Ashu Talif Crew. Not too bad; just take them down one by one.
Another scene takes place after the battle.
