Previously, Heorot continued training in Fei'Yin to earn Capacity Points. Now, he will start on the Wings of the Goddess content. This will enable him to continue the Rhapsodies of Vana'diel content, as well.

Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. In his delivery box, he receives gil for two stacks of Wind Crystals that sold on the auction house. He also gets back four stacks of Wind Crystals that did not sell. He exits to Bastok Mines.

Bastok Mines (time 1:28):

At the auction house, Heorot puts his unsold stacks of Wind Crystals up for sale, as well as a couple additional stacks of Wind Crystals rolling around in his Mog Sack.

Then, Heorot teleports to Bastok Markets.

Bastok Markets (time 3:45):

Heorot visits the map merchant, Karine, at H-9. He picks up the Map of Grauberg, the Map of Vunkerl Inlet, and the Map of Fort Karugo-Narugo. These excessively expensive maps cover special Wings of the Goddess zones. Fortunately, the maps that Heorot currently has cover most of the other areas.

Then, Heorot teleports back to Bastok Mines.

Bastok Mines (time 6:06):

Heorot started the game with Wings of the Goddess Mission 1: "Cavernous Maws" on his docket. For this, he must examine a Cavernous Maw in Batallia Downs, Rolanberry Fields, or Sauromugue Champaign. The one in Sauromugue is out-of-the-way if you have not unlocked the nearby Survival Guide. Getting there requires going through Garlaige Citadel and going out the exit past the Banishing Gate #3. The ones in Batallia and Rolanberry are much easier to access.

Heorot is also currently on the Rhapsodies of Vana'diel Chapter 2 mission "Cauterize". The most recent mission, "From the Ruins", earned him the Rhapsody in Crimson, which allows him to have a total of five Trust NPCs summoned at once. During Wings of the Goddess, he will be able to meet Cait Sith and continue Rhapsodies of Vana'diel.

Heorot uses the Survival Guide at I-9 to teleport to Rolanberry Fields, Derfland.

Rolanberry Fields (time 7:29):

Heorot arrives at the Survival Guide at G-6.

At H-6 nearby, he examines the Cavernous Maw. In a cutscene, he gets pulled in! In the emptiness, a scene with a certain royal feline takes place, but the results are not helpful.

Sauromugue Champaign [S] (time 11:32):

Heorot randomly teleports to Sauromugue Champaign [S] in the Aragoneu Front. He could instead be teleported to Rolanberry Fields [S] or Batallia Downs [S]. In this case, a Jeuno patrol discovers Heorot. They warn him that this place is not safe. It is not clear yet, but Heorot is now many years in the past.

After the scene, Heorot gains control at K-9 in Sauromugue Champaign [S]. He has obtained the Pure White Feather permanent key item. This concludes Wings of the Goddess Mission 1: "Cavernous Maws".

Wings of the Goddess Mission 2: "Back to the Beginning" begins. Heorot must now enlist in a nation's military and complete some quests. Each nation has a base near Jeuno. San d'Oria's base is in Garlaige Citadel [S]. Windurst's Base is in the Crawlers' Nest [S]. Bastok's base is in the Eldieme Necropolis [S]. Heorot must acquire a recommendation letter from the base of the nation of his choosing and then travel to that nation to enlist. He will go with Bastok.

Heorot takes the back door to Garlaige Citadel [S] at J-10.

Garlaige Citadel [S] (time 17:31):

Heorot arrives at I-5 on the second map of the citadel. This is San d'Oria's base near Jeuno. There are Elvaan near the entrance, but farther in, there are monsters. Unfortunately, it seems that Heorot cannot go through the Banishing Gate #1 at G-8 to the first map.

So, he exits at I-5 to Batallia Downs [S].

Batallia Downs [S] (time 26:05):

In the southeast of the zone, Heorot examines the Survival Guide at K-11. Though this Survival Guide is in the past, he can teleport freely to and from Survival Guides in the present. Very helpful!

In the southwest of the zone, Heorot takes the main entrance to Garlaige Citadel [S].

Garlaige Citadel [S] (time 31:34):

Heorot arrives at G-7 in the first map of the citadel. He examines the nearby Survival Guide at G-7. Then, he checks around a little bit. In fact, he is looking in the wrong place for the Bastok base. I figure that out eventually.

When he is done here, Heorot exits to Batallia Downs [S] at G-7.

Batallia Downs [S] (time 34:47):

Heorot travels to the northwest. Jeuno is not accessible in the past. At E-7, he exits to Rolanberry Fields [S] in the Derfland Front.
