A poor, unfortunate Tarutaru stuck at a backwater posting in Davoi tells Mr. Pierso, Ragecat & Marron/Eimichan of a way to penetrate the barrier to an alternate entrance to the Monastic Cavern. An orb must be dipped into the four ponds within Davoi, which will corrupt it into a Cursed Orb. This can be used like an enchanted key to bypass the barrier. These ponds are scattered all over Davoi, including one to the North that isn't even on the map. Looks like our adventurers will have to do a little running around before they'll have a hope of retrieving the Orcish Crest!
