This is bar none the hardest challenge fight I've ever done and one of the most intense battles I've ever had. Ashe, all by herself, taking down all five Judge Magisters in the Trial Mode without using any of the items or equipment that trivialize the fight, and of course without using Wither or Reverse.

Ashe - Level 99
Jobs: Monk + Bushi
Weapons: Kumbha and Karkata
Shield: Genji Shield
Helmet: Circlet
Armor: Maximilian
Accessories: Ribbon, Bubble Belt, Cameo Belt, Nihopalaoa, Ring of Renewal
Items used: Bubble Mote, Meteorite (Disease-inflicting), Remedy, Chronos Tear, Prince's Kiss
No Espers or Quickenings were used.

So this fight. There are three reasons why it's even possible, if only barely: Firstly, you can disable all of the Judges' self-healing if you know how. Secondly, you can cancel animations and end lag on your actions by switching equipment. Thirdly, three of the Judges can be (temporarily) taken out of the fight - Zargabaath with Sleep, and Bergan and Drace both with Confuse. Thanks to Nihopalaoa we have the power to inflict all status ailments at will and I would not have been able to get by without it; but what's also important is the Karkata sword, which inflicts Confuse on hit, with a 100% chance of success. Attacking with the Karkata is somewhat faster and less restrictive than inflicting Confuse by Nihopalaoa, and it's not like the Karkata is a weak sword either, so it really helps out.

My main source of damage is the Kumbha. Ashe has 99 Strength and Magic with the Circlet and Maximillian so her damage output is constantly at its maximum. The occasional combo is nice, but with the Judges' insane block and parry chances it's not feasible to use the Genji Gloves over the Cameo Belt. Of course I only get to deal damage every now and then when no healing or status inflicting needs to be done. Patience is very important, you don't want to make a move too much and end up dying.

There's a lot of micro-management to do in this challenge, but get everything just right and you'll take them down. There are two main hard sections in this fight: the very beginning, when all five of them stand, and near the end when Gabranth is in critical HP. Ghis is still very dangerous with Dispelga and Reverse really cutting into your rhythm, but the far more dangerous foe is Gabranth, who becomes a total killing machine once he uses Enrage and gets his crit HP buffs. With my armor and the extra defense from the Ring of Renewal I can just barely react and heal in time. This is definitely not meant for a single character to do, but hey, it was still possible in the end.

So, what other fun challenges could I do...
