Developed and published by Square Enix, Final Fantasy XIII was released in 2009 for PlayStation 3 in Japan, and worldwide in 2010 for PS3 and Xbox 360. Its follow-up, Final Fantasy XIII-2, first hit Japan in 2011 and other regions in 2012.
