FINAL FANTASY XIIII Episode Zero -Promise- is a web novella written by Jun Eishima that covers the events of the thirteen days leading up to FF13's opening that AREN'T shown in the game. You'll see things like Fang and Vanille waking up, Lightning's first meeting with Snow, Serah becoming a L'Cie, Sazh's dealings with PSICOM, and Hope's vacation in Bodhum. It's all very interesting stuff!
