If you are attempting this fight for the first time, use Libra twice to start (or a Librascope).

If Hope goes down, Retry immediately.

It is possible to 5-star this even if Pain hits. Buy some Painkillers and use them if you get hit. Shift to Solidarity to heal when necessary (I didn't have to in this run because Pain never hit, but I did the first time I 5-starred with this setup).

You need to time your Mediguards and shifts properly. Always shift while 10000 Needles hits (not after) so you have time to set up Mediguard again.
