Final Fantasy XV [PS4] Commentary #087, Breath of the Glacian; Ch. 13 Start: The Imperial Capital

Previously, during the Chapter 11 quest "Express Train for Trouble", Ardyn caused trouble along the party's ride through Eusciello to Tenebrae. Then, in Chapter 12, there was a daemon attack during "No Turning Back". When they reached Tenebrae in "Where She Lived", they gathered information and help from Aranea and from a House Fleuret retainer, Maria. Now, they will embark upon the last stage of their journey to Gralea, the capital of Niflheim.
Tenebrae is another one-time location, so be sure you get everything you want before leaving. Nothing is overly valuable or rare, and there are no sidequests, but there are a few datalog entries.
After resuming, the party talks to Aranea's subordinate, Biggs, by the Magna Fortia train (time 0:48). The train is ready to go. The party can rest up beforehand, if desired.
The party talks to Biggs again (time 1:05). They shove off for Gralea. "Where She Lived" complete! Noctis, Gladiolus, and Ignis earn a base of 1,000 EXP apiece. The party has a few last words with Aranea before they set out.
The next scene starts up in the dining car as the train passes through the frigid Ghorovas Rift (time 2:08).
We gain control of Noctis in the dining car (time 2:46). He is free to explore the rear portion of the train. The story quest "Into the Arctic Crevasse" begins.
In a pass-through car behind the dining car, Noctis finds an Elixir (time 3:23).
In a pass-through car beyond the sleeper car, he finds a Chrome Bit (time 3:39).
In a freight car, he finds a Mega Phoenix (time 3:48). He finds a Debased Banknote, a Hi-Elixir, and a Rusted Bit.
In the freight car with the Regalia, he finds an Electrolytic Condenser (time 4:11). He also finds a Gralean Medal of Distinction.
I think I missed a minor treasure on a red emergency box. Oh, well.
Eventually, Noctis will get a mysterious phone call (time 5:43). "Into the Arctic Crevasse" complete! Noctis, Gladiolus, and Ignis earn a base of 1,000 EXP apiece. The freezing conditions force the train to halt.
We regain control of the party outside the train (time 6:56). The next story quest, "Breath of the Glacian", begins. The party must take down some daemons. The only tech that Ignis can use right now is Libra Elementia.
After a checkpoint save, a boss appears (time 8:57). It is the Deathclaw, which the party must defeat. It is weak to shields, machinery, fire, and light, but resistant to ice. Look out for its claw lasers.
Another scene takes place after the Deathclaw's defeat (time 10:50). Noct sees an unwelcome guest as he reboards the train.
As he goes forward in the train, an arctic blast greets him (time 11:35). Ardyn seems unaffected by the coldness. Fortunately, Gentiana appears, and she is more than she appears to be. In the Royal Pack/Edition and more recent expansions, she has much to say about past events--some ancient, some more recent. She also has insight into Lunafreya's thoughts. In the end, Noctis receives Shiva's blessing. He acquires his twelfth royal arm, the Trident of the Oracle, and the Mark of the Glacian.
After regaining control, Noctis approaches the ice-encrusted Ardyn (time 22:51). Another scene takes place.
Noctis goes through the train for another scene (time 24:02). What did that thumb switch of Ardyn's activate.
"Breath of the Glacian" complete! Noctis, Gladiolus, and Ignis earn 5,000 EXP apiece. The player earns the trophy "End of Days" for completing Chapter 12.
Chapter 13: Redemption begins (time 26:24). This is a rough chapter.
A scene takes place aboard the Magna Fortia train (time 26:38). Of course, another disturbance halts the train before they reach the city.
We regain control of the party aboard the train (time 27:53). The story quest "The Imperial Capital" begins. The party must inspect the disturbance.
A scene takes place as the party heads forward through the train (time 28:23). Daemons are attacking ... and Noctis has a complication! Now, the party must head to the freight car at the back of the train and get to the Regalia.
A scene takes place when they reach the Regalia (time 29:30). The party has two minutes to drive along the train tracks and get into Gralea before the gates close. There are several obstacles along the way.
They soon make it in (time 31:16). Alas, poor Regalia. Noctis has a flashback to his father.
After the scene, we regain control of the party (time 32:54). Now, it is time to find the entrance to Zegnautus Keep, which is hovering over Gralea.
