FINAL FANTASY XVI - S Ranking a leg in Arcade without slow/stall farming tactics
24Yo, what's up everyone! If you saw the rising tides DLC showcase you already know the hype is too real, and I am back on FFXVI full time preparing for it.
This video here is a demonstration of getting S rank with aggressive play. The arcade mode has undergone some tweaks since release, but it's still not quite perfect yet and the major discourse around it is that in order to S rank you have to do really slow stall based tactics, if you're aiming for leaderboard spots it's a must, but I wanted to display a build and playstyle I developed that allows you to achieve S ranks without having to use a slow paced or stall based strategy. I carefully selected Eikonic abilities that are consistently effective at generating points regardless of the enemy compositions, which allows me to ensure that no matter what I'm doing I can generate enough points for S rank. I actually have 2 skills on here that you could easily remove but I keep them because I like them which is rift slip and impulse. Both of these don't make major contributions to my points and are more of just personal favorites.
