In Apocalipsis, a game created by Punch Punk Games and published by Klabater, you are Harry, a depressed and desperate young man for whom losing his beloved Zula was his world's end. Refusing to give up, however, he begins a journey that takes him to the literal ends of the real world.
As a point-and-click adventure in the vein of Samorost and Machinarium, solving puzzles not only moves the story forward, but meaning in Harry's journey and struggles can be derived as well. A hand icon indicates an item can be placed in your inventory (explained below). An icon of a black pair of gears indicates possible interaction, once a secondary item has been selected from your inventory. A brown pair of gears indicates you have a secondary item chosen to try the selected interaction. If you see an icon of an arrow with small rays (or beams) coming off the backside, this means you can interact without need of an additional item.
An inventory is displayed in the upper right with a scroll background. To use an item, click it once; it will increase in size a bit to indicate it's selected, at which point you then click on an appropriate item/creature on the rest of the screen to "use" the item on it.
Will poor Harry find his lost love? If things turn out differently for him, will he learn to move on and live a better life in the future? Let's play Apocalipsis to try to give Harry a reason to live. #Apocalipsis #playthrough #letsplay
