Final Sacrifice | The Last of Us 2 Part 10 (End)
Welcome to the last video of our The Last of Us Part 2 blind play through! I'm honestly so excited that I was able to stay blind through the entirety of this play through and feel that it definitely helped with the impact of the characters choices, twists, and deaths that happened.
***********Spoiler's from here on*************
Final thoughts on the game: While I was able to play through the game with only a few minor glitches in the graphics my husband had to restart his save a few times to fix doors not opening and scenes not triggering. He even ran into a bug where all the infected in the Servena Hotel were T-Posing. I see and understand that these can be cause for concerns, however patched hit pretty quickly for things like this so it's really not the end of the world. Most games have bugs and glitches day one-week one.
Story wise even if I didn't always feel compelled to feel for Abby I do like that the game went in this direction. If only because it's realistic. Every group of people in the games world would function as their own family unit of some sort and it fully makes sense that Joel's actions from the first game would have consequences and that he would potentially leave survivors left behind to come after him and Ellie. This is believable (even if it was incredibly heartbreaking). In the end both girls killed the others father(father figure), and had a chance to spare the other. They both lost everything. I think the struggle on both sides was refreshing compared to our main girl Ellie just going on a rampage exacted revenge on someone we didn't care about and was just left there solely to die.
I did find out that Naughty Dog does not plan to release DLC for the game sometime between recording and uploading this which really sucks. I feel like after everything that happened with Abby getting to keep her family in the way of Lev that Ellie should be able to have her little family back as well. I believe that Dina would forgive her one last time after coming home and understanding (especially after being there for all that Ellie had to go through during their trip to Seattle and talking her through panic attacks at the farm.) since Ellie's actions would prove that she was done with the situation.
Anyways, let me know all your thoughts and opinions in the comment below! I would love to discuss more.
