The cheapest game I've played in a long time! This, truly, emulates the unfair arcade games from the 90's. A single mistake can cost your whole life, not joking!
Enemies are ridiculously fast and cheap. Almost all of them have a split second jab that can ruin your run very fast. And if you get surrounded, they are especially programmed to stunlock you to death, since you don't get invulnerability when you get hit. I've never seen such atrociously trolling design in a beat'em up! It's astounding! You have to preemptively prepare for every enemy, the game doesn't like improvisation!
This is a no death run on Ultra difficulty, the max difficulty, and it's absolutely insane! At one point it feels like a cruel joke! Everyone is twice as fast as you, and everyone wants to flank you and destroy you in nanoseconds! Special mention goes for the enemies wearing black with pistols! These are, no doubt, the most deadly enemies in the entire game! They are so fast, you have to start preemptively punching the air near them and wait for them to come, in order to hit them, otherwise they always start jabbing you to death! There's nothing you can do, they are programmed that way. Another special mention goes for the final boss that summons these exact enemies all the time! Did I mention they have pistols? If they shoot you with their gun, that's immediately half of you life gone!
I am so glad I managed to get a deathless run, oh my! But, this game is not for the faint of heart!
