Shadow Warrior 3 - Full Run - Hardcore - No Death - One Sitting - 100% (All collectable orbs)
Couple of notes first, since the game is still pretty buggy:
- At 1:10:32, this is a bug that occures 9 out of 10 times. You just die for no reason when you land on the platform. I don't know what triggers it, or how to not let it happen. I tried landing a bit to the right, a bit to the left, nothing works. You just die there 90% of the time, and that's it! Sometimes it can even lock you into a death loop, since the checkpoint is right before landing. It needs fixing asap! There was nothing I could have done, it's just a bug.
- At 1:16:37, I had to restart from a checkpoint, because the game failed to spawn the main enemies, and I got locked in the arena with never ending fodder enemies spawning. This is, actually, a common bug, that after quite a lot of updates, still occures. Often, some of the main enemies get stuck underneath the arena and you cannot continue until you, somehow, kill them (if they are visible, that is), or simply restart the checkpoint. It also needs a patch asap!
- At 2:01:40, I had to restart the checkpoint, because all the buttons suddenly stopped working! I was locked in this stance, holding the katana! That bug was, actually, a first! Never before has it happened! I think, it had something to do with slashing the katana right before climbing up the vines, and it locked me in this animation without any button working. You can see me struggling to get "unstuck", but to no avail! Thank god, I managed to restart the checkpoint, otherwise, I would've been really pissed!

Welcome to my Hardcore mode No Death Run in one sitting of this incredible game!
The game got a pretty big update recently, where they introduced this new difficulty, and tons of other changes and rebalancing to make the game much harder. Gotta say, Harcore mode is one of the most brutally hard modes in a shooter I have played to this day! Since the original Hard mode was a bit on the easy side, they went absolutely overboard with Hardcore, and made the game so ridiculously punishing, it almost feels like they are trolling you! Main changes in Hardcore:
1. Enemies hit like a truck on steroids! Even the fodder enemies are pretty deadly now. The big demons with the traveling shockwave now inflict up to, probably, 90% damage with a single hit! It's ridiculous! The Armour Shoguns can leave you with 20 or 30 hp from full health with a "Brain tonic" (225 hp) with one of their laser beam! Hell, even the projectiles from the fodder ice enemies inflict close to 20 hp damage on hit! And each one fires up to four projectiles!
2. Enemies have become extremely aggressive! All of them want you dead, no matter what! They all just try to gang up on you constantly, so you always have to be on the run!
3. The winding animations of the enemies have been shortened. For example, the Armour Shogun now fires it's projectiles much faster than before.
4. Very important! The frozen and electified state you put your enemies with your katana in is decreased significantly! As you can see, freezing enemies and killing them fast is my bread and butter. Now, you have to be extra fast and careful, because they just don't stay frozen for as long. Plus, the range of the shotgun has been decreased! Damn!
5. There are a ton more enemies at any given time now. It is a common thing to fight 10-15 main enemies at the same time! Insane!
6. Doing executions now replenishes very little hp, with the exeption of "Brain tonic", which now just gives +100hp on top of your already existing hp. Before the patch, every execution replenished your health to full, and "Brain Tonic" gave you 225 hp, no matter what. It also gave you a shield (you can see the icon on the health bar). Well now, you can, simply, forget about the shield. It's just gone, that's it. Now, you have to be extra careful with your executions, and plan them accordingly!
There are a lot more changes and I'll need a lot of time to write them down. You can see the patch notes if you are interested. In one word, you have been severely debuffed, while your enemies have been severely buffed!
I am super glad I managed to clear it deathless, but it was quite a big struggle, and quite a stressful experience! And since the game is still buggy, and there's a lot of traversal where you can die so easily by a mistake or a bug, it cost me a lot of nerves to accomplish this run! But, I love this game so much, I needed to do it! Shadow Warrior 3 is one of my favourite first person shooters to date!
