Link's Journal:
Day 7

This...this monster was unlike anything I had ever seen! It was called Arborachnid. It was using the magic of the fairies to be quicker than any other beast I had come across! I battled hard, but I was out of practice when it came to monsters like this.
I could barely stand when I found out the monster's weakness was its behind. I knew I'd kill myself trying to roll under it, so I kept running until the monster was facing a certain spot, then I used the magic hourglass! That was when I struck the beast with my sword!
The monster started to get smart after a couple of times and drained more energy from the fairies. It now had a power similar to the Beamos! The same strategy worked again and it wasn't long before the monster fell to my blade.
The fairies slowly started to regain their power and flew off. They were so quick to escape that I didn't have a chance to ask about Navi's whereabouts. I didn't see her among these fairies. She must've escaped deeper into the woods.
After I left the keep, I took a new route deeper into the woods. I thought I saw something glitter in the distance. It...it was a fairy. I couldn't get a good look at it from this distance, but I was willing to follow it to see if it was Navi! I summoned Epona and she was at my side within seconds. Malon will be fine if I borrow her for a while.
I've been searching and following the fairy's trail for about a day now. I haven't been able to see her closely yet, but I have a feeling that she has to be Navi!
