Project 79 is an investment platform built on the Ethereum network.
With Project 79, the team has secured contracts with existing supply chains to purchase physical gold at a discount, which they distribute and sell directly to a refinery in Dubai at market prices. The Market for gold and silver is represented by an international trade association called LBMA, or London Bullion Market Association. So what Project 79 is doing is they’re buying gold at a rate lower than the market set by the LMBA, and selling it at the market rate. This leaves them with a certain profit margin that serves as the project’s income made from sales.
