1As far as sky-writing typos go, I was anticipating and hoping for far worse than this. To me, what would have been a real gaffe, is getting the name horrendously wrong, or switching it around for a known acquaintance that could cause some serious drama and chaos. Instead, it's so minor and inconsequential, I think it could have some lighthearted charm in the moment. Sometimes, things not working out 100% correctly, but in a way that still gets the point across without any negative consequences, can create that moment that becomes unforgettable. I'm sure she'd have always remembered the proposal, but when there's a typo, that becomes a story to be told over and over again, so I find it hard to believe he'd be that torn up or remorseful about this. To suggest so ignores her response, which seemed pretty positive, and the way people deal with stuff like this. It didn't seem well thought out to me.
