Welcome back to Basic Level Gaming! Today we are going to continue on with our Learn to Play Chess series. Before we get started though, I wanted to applogize for missing last Thursday. When I made my Tuesday video I had totally spaced that Thursday was thanksgiving. Today our focus is going to be on finding the best move based on the whole board. It is so easy to get tunnel vision and only see the pieces you are focused on, and this is a fatal mistake. We talk about the importance of finding a balance between attacking and still protecting your pieces.
