After the events at Elusia, Alear is taken away by Nil, who reveals his true plans. Nel and the Four Winds arrive at a temple in Solm, which is infested by the Corrupted, and they confront Nil, with the Four Winds staying behind to fend off the Corrupted while the others take on Nil in order to save Alear and find out the truth about him.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

This battle follows up after Chapter 4, and usually we get an unexpected turn of events, with Chapter 10, we had six Emblem Rings taken away from us, in Chapter 21, we lost our Emblem Rings, but were able to get them back the following chapter. We enter the Desert Stronghold, and we then learn the true identity of the assassin that attacked Lythos Castle, and this is the only battle where Alear cannot be used.
Nel will be trapped along with Nil, who has Emblem Chrom on his side, Nel has 9 Elixirs to ensure he can at least hold off from Nil's attacks. I recommend equipping Corrin onto Nel and use Vein of Stone to reduce damage from Nil's attacks, and if you picked up Emblem Camilla through the Divine Paralogues, you can use one to reduce the miasma that is found throughout the map.
Alear will be under attack, you will want to bring several healers, like Hortensia, Framme, Mauvier, or any other units and give them a bunch of Physic staves. If you try to escape with Warp Ragnarok with Nel, every since reinforcement will come out and overwhelm your units, but for now, they will take turns appearing, a Martial Master will assist Nil, and as he doesn't have swords, he cannot use Chrom's engage attack.
We learn that everyone except for the Fell Dragon twins and the Four Winds are Corrupted, and I did see that Corrupted Hortensia uses the same portait that was used for Hortensia in Chapter 14 when she was under mind control. To go over the bosses, Corrupted Hortensia has Stealth Assist, the opposite to Big Personality, and she has Emblem Hector, allowing her to use Runesword, a magic sword that heals 50% of the damage dealt to the user, I have never seen her use Storm's Eye, bows are your best weapon against her, and she has dialogue if you fight her with Ivy, Hortensia, Rosado, Goldmary, or Lindon.
Then for the assassin that attacked Lythos Castle, Corrupted Fogado has Wear Down, the opposite to Charmer, and he has Emblem Veronica, and he can summon reinforcements before he starts moving, Fortify is the staff from Veronica, and he has dialogue when you fight him with Timerra, Fogado, Pandreo, or Bunet. If you can make Fogado use a Silver Bow, you can attack him with close range weapons, as he won't be able to counterattack.
There are four chests on the map, they have Restore, Freeze, Physic, and Fortify, a bunch of staves that can come to use, as you will be using your staff users to heal Alear while under attack from the Mage Cannoneers and Corrupted Wyverns.
After getting past Fogado and Hortensia, they have two Revival Stones each, on Normal mode, they don't have any Revival Stones. Time to go over Nil, he is very defensive, the best way to fight him is to bring your backup units, like Diamant, Kagetsu, Panette, Goldmary, and a few others, and if you have Lucina equipped to your Longbow or Thoron user to help get in some chain attacks.
Going over Emblem Chrom's skills, Surprise Attack prevents foe from getting in a counterattack when attacking from terrain that provides an Avoid bonus, Brute Force increases the damage from critical hits when using a physical attack, Charm increases the chain attack accuracy to 90%, and Other Half has Robin take part in chain attacks, but anytime Nil takes part in combat, not many of the skills activate during the battle. The engage attack is Giga Levin Sword, it is a magic attack that uses physical attack power using a magic sword, but as Nil doesn't have any swords, and it is likely to make it so that Nel can survive combat against Nil. You can lead off the fight with a sword user to inflict break onto Nil, and then start attacking him till he is down, he has two Revival Stones, even on Normal.
After the chapter, the Four Winds work together to destroy the pillars in order to stop the army of Corrupted, as they did stay behind while Nel works on rescuing Alear. There is one more chapter left, and it will be a very difficult battle, I will take a bit of time to prepare for what is ahead.
