It is time to make it to Elusian, and Alear's forces stop at Givre Port, which they find to be empty, and is infested with the Corrupted. They then have another encounter with Marni, but she is not by herself, as Mauvier is with her, and they have Emblem Rings with them, and there is even miasma, which can make the fight even harder.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Before the battle, we see what the Four Hounds are up to, and when Zephia tells them about the helmet that will increase Veyle's powers, Mauvier does not agree with Zephia's choice, knowing how dangerous it is to even Veyle. Then Alear and the others arrive at Givre Port, and it is empty, but they do find their opponents there.
We also find a new ally that we can recruit, and one we have met back at Chapter 8, Saphir is one of the royal guards from Brodia, she is a Warrior with a Brave Axe and Tomahawk, and to recruit her, you have to talk to her with Alear, Diamant, or Alcryst, the best way is to have a unit use Rescue to warp her to your units, as she is in range of the Lance Paladins, and Mauvier does like to use Warp to send some of his forces closer to yours. There is also miasma throughout the map, you can use the Flame Cannons to remove or, and you will want to equip Corrin onto either Alear or a Mystical unit to remove the miasma, but it can be really tricky when it is all over the map.
There are two houses on the map, but you get ambushed by the Corrupted when you enter them, but you do get some rewards for defeating them, the northern house has a Dracoshield, this permanently boosts the unit's Defense by 2, and the southern house has an Elixir.
The best way to do the map is to clear out the enemies, including the Corrupted Wyrms, before taking on the bosses, and they both have Revival Stones, Marni has two, and Mauvier has three, and they both have Emblems. Marni is a General equipped with Roy's Emblem Ring, and her Hold Out++ ensures that she survives combat at 1 HP if her HP is above 10%, and she can use Blazing Lion to create a 3x3 area of flames in front of her. When she uses a Revival Stone, she will gain access to Binding Blade, when equipped, Marni has +5 Defense and +5 Resistance, and this sword can attack at range, the best way to fight her is to use magic attacks and chain attacks, and as she is at the center part of the map, it can be really tricky to deal with her and Mauvier at the same time, as well as the group of enemies, unless you make use of the Flame Cannons to get in some damage or use Corrin's Dragon Vein with a Mystical unit to hold them back a bit.
Mauvier has three Revivial Stones, and he has Micaiah equipped, and he does have Warp and Rescue, he tends to use Rescue to bring Marni closer to your units. I have never seen Mauvier use Great Sacrifice, the engage skill from Micaiah, but he does have Shine and Nosferatu, and he has a Brave Lance as well. When Mauvier uses his Revival Stone, he gains access to Thani, which deals bonus damage against Armored and Cavalry units, and Silence Ward gives him an immunity to silence, Mauvier is a tough foe to bring down, specially with three Revival Stones, best way to fight him is to use engage attacks and chain attacks to bring him down, you can use the Flame Cannons to get some damage on him before taking him on.
For items, Marni can drop a Goddess Icon, and Mauvier drops a Brave Lance, and you get Roy and Micaiah back after this chapter. Saphir does join your group even if you didn't talk to her, that is if she survived the battle, she is a Warrior, you can equip her with a Longbow to get in a chain attack from three spaces when taking on the enemies on the map. Her best stats are HP and Strength, and while not the best growths rates, at least she does get 1 HP for each level up. Her Personal Skill is Will to Win, if Saphir's HP is below 50%, she gains Hit and Avoid +20 during combat, and the class skill for Warrior is Merciless, when a foe is broken in combat, this boosts her damage by 50% against a broken foe. While she can be a good unit, it can be hard to put her on a team because you will likely have a full team by now.
