1Chapter 11: Phantom Ship (Part 1/2)
Though Eirika was able to travel on foot, Ephraim must press on via the sea, despite the warnings of a ghost ship going after sea vessels. And of course, his journey is interrupted partway through by the aforementioned ghost ship. The ship itself is possessed by monsters, lead by none other than Grado's General Riev. With the monsters surrounding his ship, Ephraim has no choice but to fight them off, even with the thick fog enveloping the area.
You know how the fog of war wasn't so bad in the previous chapter? Well, it's terrible in this one. There's very little space to move about, though that hardly matters. Many of the enemies here can fly, and thus they can have a pretty easy time maneuvering around and striking your weaker units. Add the fact that you can't easily see them coming, and you have a very annoying fight on your hands. Also be wary of bringing pegasus knights into the fight, because there are enemy archers lurking in the fog as well. The only real advantages you have here are the planks connecting the ships. Those make great chokepoints, so you can position your best units and wipe out most of the ground-based units. Other than that, keep your weaker units and healers safe, and try bringing a thief along to get a bit of extra vision.
