Though her aid from King Hayden is limited, Eirika begins her journey to Grado in order to help her brother Ephraim. But with war breaking out, bandits have found an easy time preying on innocent villagers. Their most recent attacks have led them to Ide, a small town in which a former military legend and his son reside...
This chapter isn't too difficult, just be aware that training a few of your units will be difficult. Eirika, Seth and Franz can use swords, so they're not handicapped. Vanessa and Gilliam, on the other hand, probably won't be getting many kills here. Vanessa in particular likely won't get much action outside of saving Ross. Speaking of Ross, though, he's actually not a big problem in battle. Don't keep him in the front, obviously, but getting some kills off weakened units should be easy. You can recruit Garcia mid battle if you want, but there's not much of a point to do so unless you really want him early.
