There are only 64 possible chests layouts when you load this chapter. I need the Light Brand to be in a chest in the bottom right cell, which is the case in 17 of these layouts, so the first thing I do is check if I have one of these layouts, else I reset. Out of these 17 layouts, 9 of them have the Light Brand in the chest at the bottom right of the cell, which would require a slightly different Leif/Fergus movement and result in a less likely to succeed ending.

Usually for this chapter you just need to open the 2 NPCs cells as soon as possible and then take your time for the final death room, but I don't have this luxury as I don't need to visit chapter 4x. My resources are very limited, as I only have 5 weapons, including the Light Brand (Leif only) and Slim Sword (very low might), and my only ways to heal are the Light Brand and a 3 uses Vulnerary. It would be easier if I could open another chest for an extra weapon or vulnerary, but sadly I don't have time to do so.

Lara can open Leif's cell on turn 3, but she must face some soldiers attacks with 50% hit on the way. She can heal any turn 1 damage with the vulnerary, but she must then dodge at least 2 out of 3 attacks, some of them may be capture attempts with a lower hit. Meanwhile, Brighton is clearing the way to the death room with his Wrath skill. His attacks have around 70% hit, and killing the armor in particular was very shaky as he may or may not OHKO with a crit, and the armor will use a vulnerary during enemy phase if he is at low health.

The whole point of the strategy is to open the death room on turn 6, and have Leif engage as many enemies as possible with his Light Brand, as he is the only one who can retaliate against the 1-2 range weapons. He may naturally ORKO some of them depending on their stats, but the rest will live if he doesn't get a crit or Adept proc.

Turn 7 is the moment of truth. My other units must find a way into the room, which may not be possible depending on the enemies positions. Fergus with his insane 5 FCM (Follow-up Critical Multiplier) and 10% support with Karin has a very high chance to get a kill with a crit, but if there is anything else to kill then I must hope that Brighton or Macha can do the job, since Leif must probably waste his turn healing with the Light Brand.
