Dimitri believes that he is forced to fight on two fronts. Byleth advises him to finish off the enemy units lest one of the fronts becomes an even greater liability. However, these students have been training diligently at Garreg Mach and the professor need not insert himself into his student's planning process. Seeing this Byleth withholds any further direction as he proudly watches his students take on the exam. The Golden Deer surge forward unimpeded as the Blue Lions cannot halt a formidable charge. The Black Eagles seem formidable with their interlocking attacks. The Battle of the Eagle and Lion is the defining event for students attending the officer's academy.

The entire academy staff is distracted from the events leading to Flayn's abduction and Jeritza's apparent culpability. Jeralt has taken it upon himself to uproot the leads that have made themselves known to the Knights of Seiros through threads of evidence collected by Shamir. Hanneman indicated that Flayn is unremarkable besides her crest. What could a person derive from another's crest anyways, even this remains a mystery to Hanneman's staff. Manuela and Hanneman have taken off time from guiding houses in order to conduct their own investigations. Manuela says that she is out for revenge, but she has kept the wellbeing of her students in mind as a call to action. A happy spoiler section remains, the last two had to go over some negative things.

We were much more precise and offensive than our first attempt. The troop quality of our opponents is much higher than what we are used to, however not as bad as going to that skirmish battle under leveled in our first loss. Maybe in future three houses playthroughs I will be playing more skirmishes and paralogues under leveled for the fun of it. I am very happy with how this episode turned out, especially in terms of my vocal presentation. These episodes are normally scheduled for noon EST. We are currently sitting 12-3 with Ingrid taking the MVP during what seems to be her era. This is one of the most fun and challenging pre time skip maps.
