After a turn of events, Shez and the house leaders end up in Zahras, an abyssal void said to be separate from Fódlan, and they learn about Arval's true identity, or well, the being that created Arval, and see if they can find a way out of the void.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

That cutscene where Shez kills Solon and casts the Forbidden Spell of Zahras reminds me of that one point in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, where in that game, it is Solon that casted that spell, and his victim was Kronya, and he used it to trap Byleth, but in this game, Solon is the victim and it not only trapped Shez, but also the house leaders.
After a bit of dialogue, Shez can explore Zahras, and the glowing orb in the middle allows you to access facilities, like the Shop, Record Keeper, Training Grounds, and many others, and I wanted to show the Chapter 15 battle, and for dialogue, Jeralt has some during the chapter, and when you have Lysithea fight Solon. When you talk to the house leaders, you can get a special event scene where the other two house leaders have a conversation, for example, if you talk to Claude, you get to see Edelgard talking with Dimitri, and this is considered to be their Support Conversation, and if you are wondering about Dimitri and Claude's Support Conversation, it can only be viewed on Azure Gleam and Golden Wildfire. The visit to Zahras on this route makes the most sense on this route than the others, I won't spoil what happens on the other two routes, but I feel like this chapter in Azure Gleam makes the least amount of sense because of what has happened to one of the characters that is present during that route.
Once you talk to the house leaders, interact with the glowing ball, and this will take you to the chapter battle, and you then encounter the Arval lookalike with those orange things that resemble what Shez has in her Awakened form, this being is known as Epimenides, and about when I referred to Arval as female, I assumed that Arval was a woman because of their appearance, Epimenides is male, he refers to himself as a man when he introduces himself.
I do like the music for this battle, the song is called Darkness, and the song has three different variations, the first one is Darkness, the second phase is Darkness (Holy Ground), and the third is Darkness (Abyss), and I do like how parts of the song is a remix of Shambhala from Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
You do get to play as Dimitri and Claude in this battle, they do come equipped with their Heroes' Relics, Areadbhar and Failnaught, respectively, allowing Dimitri to use Atrocity, and Claude to use Fallen Star. You then fight against Phantoms, the first set are Hubert, Dedue, and Hilda, and I have heard that depending on your support levels, you can fight Ferdinand, Felix, or Lorenz instead.
After defeating them, it takes you the next phase, where you fight Phantoms of Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude. Then after you have defeated them, it is time to fight Epimenides, he is equipped with Hrotti, a Hero's Relic, and despite not having a Crest, Epimenides has Crestological Wisdom, which negates damage from wielding a Hero's Relic without a Crest.
After a while, Epimenides puts up a barrier, and you then have to fight a Phantom of Shez and an ally, it is based on the first ally you got Shez to A Support with, otherwise it will be Byleth by default. Once they are taken down, it is time to take down Epimenides once and for all, and that is the chapter complete.
You receive Hrotti, this was the tome Epimenides wielded, this is tied to the Crest of Timotheos, the only unit to have that Crest is Hapi, and this allows her to use Dark Spikes Τ, and when the effect is unleashed, Naturebender is the attribute, this uses the higher of the unit's Strength or Magic, let's say you have a unit that has Strength for their higher stat, like Balthus for example, when you equip Hrotti to Balthus, it will use his Strength stat to calculate damage. The S Rank reward is Aymr, this is Edelgard's signature axe from Three Houses, and this allows her to use Raging Storm, which has a fire effect and it pairs well with Essence of Fire, making this really good for the final chapter, and Unstoppable restores the Warrior and Awakening Gauges when an enemy commander is defeated. If you are wondering, despite Jeralt having the Crest of Seiros, he cannot use Raging Storm, as Aymr is a Crest Stone Relic that was designed for Edelgard to wield.
