The Halloween event for Pokémon UNITE is happening at the time of this video being uploaded, and this is similar to the one from last year. For a limited time, Halloween at Mer Stadium can be selected, and what happens is you can throw Pumpkins at opposing Pokémon, that turns them into Pumpkins, and their only move is Pumpkin Tackle, which does not deal damage, but it does knock opposing Pokémon away, and you can't use Battle Items during the event.
Since my last video, we received two new Pokémon, first is Clefable, it took 2 years for Clefable to finally be playable, because if you didn't know, when Pokémon UNITE was first announced, Clefable was one of the playable Pokémon, and it didn't even make it in the initial release of the game. The most recent addition is Zoroark, another Speedster, and at the time you can only purchase Zoroark's Unite Lincense with Aeos Gems, and it does come with a Holowear if want to use your Aeos Gems to get Zoroark.
I purchased Clefable's Unite License, I don't like the fact they are making Unite Licenses more expensive. Clefable is a Supporter, it starts matches as Clefairy, and I remember when they first announced Clefable, it said Clefairy was added as well, that confused me because Pokémon start the match in their lowest form, with Baby Pokémon being excluded.
Clefable's Ability is Magic Guard, it receives a shield effect when it heals any ally Pokémon's HP, and the shield is stronger based on the amount of HP restored. Its basic attack deals increased damage as a boosted attack every three attacks.
When starting out, Clefairy has Heal Pulse and Disarming Voice, Heal Pulse heals both Clefairy and ally Pokémon, and Disarming Voice deals damage and decreases movement speed for a short time.
At Level 4, Clefairy will evolve into Clefable, and its first move is Moonlight or Draining Kiss, they replace Heal Pulse. Moonlight heals both Clefable and the ally Pokémon's HP for a short time, and its movement speed is increased while the move is active. Draining Kiss is a recovery move that deals damage to opposing Pokémon, and any Pokémon hit release an air kiss, which travels to Clefable or the nearest ally Pokémon with the lowest HP if they are near Clefable.
At Level 6, Clefable learns Gravity or Follow Me, they replace Disarming Voice, Gravity changes Clefable's basic attacks when inside the gravity zone created, and any opposing Pokémon have their movement speed decreased, the effect being stronger after a set amount of time passes. Opposing Pokémon cannot use dash moves while in the gravity zone, and any opposing Pokémon that enter it while using a dash move is stopped and left unable to act for a short time. Follow Me has Clefable move to a designated location, and drawing in attention of opposing Pokémon it makes contact with, and it forces them to use their basic attack against it, and when used, Clefable receives a shield effect.
Clefable's Unite Move is Wonder Wish, it restores HP of ally Pokémon that are near Clefable, and more HP is restored the less HP the ally Pokémon has, and Clefable will use a move at random, those range from Close Combat, Hyper Beam, Block, Hydro Pump, Fly, and Self-Destruct.
At Level 10, Moonlight or Draining Kiss are upgraded, the area of effect from Moonlight is widened, and it increases the duration of its effects, and Draining Kiss has the same widen area of effect, the difference is it increases the amount of HP Clefable restores. At Level 12, Gravity or Follow Me are upgraded, Gravity is the same as Moonlight where it has a wide area and increased duration for its effects, and Follow Me increases Clefable's Defense and Special Defense when used.
Clefable is mainly used as a supporter, the downside is it does not have a reliable damaging move, because picking Moonlight does make Clefable a supporter, and based on the set used, best items for it are Exp. Share, Buddy Barrier, and Focus Band, Wise Glasses pairs well with Clefable's healing moves, because the higher its Special Attack, the better its healing moves.
