Fire Weaver Open World Burst Demo
53The purpose of this clip is as a simple demonstration of how to burst using this pure condi build.
As you can see, I'm already dealing 11k DPS purely from condi by 0:03, 17k at 0:04, and 22k by 0:05, finishing out an average of 16.2k over 7 seconds with a max burn tick of 22,453.
It's unusual to find this kind of burst in a condi build, but it's more than strong enough to demonstrate the impact of DPS as a defensive tool. You often hear experienced players advise new players to run berserker builds and just kill everything before it kills you.
You can see from this video exactly what they mean. I dodge and throw up projectile block with swirling winds out of habit, but this enemy was already dead.
The nice part about this build is that it deals that kind of damage while also having over 20k health and 3k armor! It can also sustain this level of DPS even against tough champions (see my 0:50s Balthazar solo video, for example).
